I heart.....

I got this idea from a blog I love called Bliss. Every monday she does an "I heart Monday" post in which she lists a bunch of things that she....well....that she hearts! And I don't heart monday AT ALL. So in an effort to overcome the monday blues (and the blues in general), I'm gonna start an "I heart" post of my own, but I'm not gonna restrict it to mondays. Everytime I'm feeling down I'm gonna count my blessings and my inspirations and try to make myself laugh a little- and hopefully you can laugh a little too :) Here we go!

I heart this little girl.

I heart this wallpaper by Julia Rothman...

In both colorways!

I heart everything about this.
color, subject, composition- everything. Visit Samantha Hahn's blog for more fabulousness.

I heart natalie dee. she makes me laugh so hard i wet my pants...evry time.

I heart this guy's hairdo. I have no clue who he is, but damn. what a masterpiece. (ps, I think i did know who he was once upon a time, and if anyone recognizes him, please remind me- thanks!)

I heart this little flower. I took this pic way back in march, this was one of the first flowers of spring. You hear that, NYC? Spring! In March! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I heart this guy: Vulcan, the god of iron and steel. How may people can say they have a god of iron and steel keeping watch over their city? Well, I guess all the people who live in B'ham can.... But I love it, and i love this pic, and i took this pic my own self.... why thank you, I think its a pretty great shot too!

I heart "I made you a Beard" on etsy. This girl deserves the Medal of Hilarity. I am not kidding, one of you is gonna be receiving a beard for your birthday one day, I just can't decide who....

Happy Monday, peeps!

  1. Bighair's name is Phil Spector, record producer and originator of the Wall of Sound technique. Lately, though, he's famous for killing an actress at his house (that picture is from the courtroom, I think). Do a Google Image search for Phil Spector and check out his other crazy hair styles, many of which I think were inspired by Barry Manilow rather than this Richard Simmons inspired one

  2. You know you're hair is wacky when it distracts people from those shirt buttons

  3. Ps. He was once married to Ronnie Spector of the cleverly titled group The Ronettes. IMO The Ronettes song "Be My Baby" belongs on every I heart.... list
